Artwork Delivery and Return (2026)

How works shown in the 2026 biennial were collected from Müze Gazhane and the Taksim Art Gallery between 1 and 4 May 2026.

Dear participant, thank you for your contribution to the biennial. Below you will find information on how works were returned to you safely and in an orderly way after the exhibition.

This page records, for archive purposes, how works were returned after the close of the 2026 biennial. The process was completed on 4 May 2026.

Appointments

Works were collected by appointment. Participants arriving without an appointment might not be admitted because of crowding and safety conditions. For questions about appointments and collection, you can write to [email protected] or [email protected].

Where to collect your work

Works were collected from the venue where they were exhibited.

Works exhibited in Kadıköy

Müze Gazhane — Hasanpaşa, Kurbağalıdere Cd. No:125, 34722 Kadıköy / Istanbul

Works exhibited in Beyoğlu

Taksim Sanat Galerisi — Gümüşsuyu, Sıraselviler Cd. No:2, 34437 Beyoğlu / Istanbul

Participants from outside Istanbul were able to have their works collected by sending their contracted courier company to the addresses above.

Collection dates and times

  • Collection period: 1–4 May 2026
  • Last day: 4 May 2026
  • Collection hours: every day, 10:00–18:00

It was announced that, as works not collected by this date might not be stored safely, no responsibility would be accepted for them afterwards.

Collection and packing

  • Collecting within Istanbul: Participants brought their own packing materials and packed their works on site.
  • Participants from outside Istanbul: Packing was done by the biennial team; works could be collected by a courier company from 2 May onwards.

Handover form

A handover form had to be completed when works were collected. Participants collecting in person filled in the form and brought it with them; those receiving their works by courier filled in the relevant fields and sent the form to the biennial team.

Certificates

From 5 May 2026, digital certificates were made available at https://sertifika.cocukgenclikbienal.org. Certificates were prepared for participants who exhibited work at the biennial, for performers and for participating schools.
