Frequently asked questions
Are the biennial events free?
No. Taking part in the biennial and attending its events is free of charge. As the 2026 programme posters stated, all events were free.
How did booking for events work?
In the 2026 programme, workshops and talks with limited places were booked through the individual reservation form, and school groups used the school reservation form. Events announced as open to all did not require booking.
Where did the 2026 biennial take place?
The 2026 biennial took place from 1 to 30 April 2026 at Müze Gazhane in Kadıköy and the Taksim Art Gallery in Beyoğlu. Two workshops in the programme were held at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum.
How can I visit the biennial with my school?
School visits were requested through the school-visit form, which asked for school details, the teacher in charge, the number of students and teachers, the grade or age group, the preferred date and time, and whether the group wished to join a workshop. For questions, write to [email protected].
What should schools keep in mind when visiting?
Visits take place under teachers’ supervision. Groups should arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled time, and at least one teacher must accompany every 20 students. Workshop places are limited.
