Happiness grows here

Project Title: Happiness Grows Here This project envisions a Reggio Emilia–inspired installation exploring the theme of happiness as a living, growing presence within nature and community. Guided by educators and the artist/ atelierista Elisa Sassera, the initiative invites a shared reflection on how joy and beauty can take root in our collective environments. The project proposes the creation of a symbolic heart form made from earth, clay, and elements of trees—materials that embody connection, growth, and care. Following the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the approach values the process over the product, the environment as a “third teacher,” and the poetic language of natural materials as a medium for expression. Educators act as co-researchers, nurturing spaces of wonder, collaboration, and sensitivity to the world around us. Happiness Grows Here becomes both an artistic and pedagogical gesture: an open landscape where happiness is cultivated through relationship, creativity, and the shared rhythm of the earth.
