The 3rd Istanbul Children and Youth Art Biennial, which features contemporary art events for children and young people, continues with performances on ferries.
Hosting the individual work of thousands of students in painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, installation, video, music and stage performance, the 3rd Istanbul Children and Youth Art Biennial – Turkey’s largest children and youth art organisation – recently opened under the theme “Small Is Good”.
The events held on İstanbul Şehir Hatları ferry services as part of the Biennial continue until 31 May. The programme of concerts and performances that will make passengers’ time on the ferry more enjoyable is as follows:

(Our play “Karagöz Hanım Teyze” portrays the difficulties of being a woman with humour. It emphasises that approaching people with understanding, respect and affection can solve any problem.)

(A dramatised performance of original songs that help us become aware of ourselves and of the environment we live in and develop environmental awareness, accompanied by musical instruments made from various waste materials: darbuka, melodica and flute.)
