PALETDER aims to contribute to society through its work in culture and the arts, education and the environment.

Our goal is to create new social spaces by bringing together different and creative people, to support multicultural life and to turn it into a shared source of richness for society.

To this end, we run activities in fields such as biennials, music events, green architecture, organic farming, information technology, an education academy and renewable energy. We also develop projects with disadvantaged groups to make a difference in their lives, and play an active role in project development and policy-making.

Who We Are

We are a volunteer team of artists, educators, academics, designers, business people, scientists, NGO professionals, civil servants and student representatives who came together in 2010.

Our goals include:

  • Contributing to a bright future for our country by helping young people grow into individuals who can innovate in technology and the arts.
  • Creating a contemporary and inclusive learning environment integrated with art, and supporting children and young people in producing original work with different materials, disciplines and techniques.
  • Bringing original artistic projects to the public in public spaces, and creating platforms where young people’s voices can be heard.
  • Bringing together children, young people, teachers, artists and academics through large-scale international events such as the biennial.
  • Putting art and creativity at the forefront of public policy-making.
  • Ensuring that every child receives high-quality art education and has access to cultural and artistic events.

Under the umbrella of the Palet Culture, Art and Education Association, we are a non-profit art education organisation that values art, education and change.
